Appendix 1
to the Regulations on the Occupational Safety Management System in the Gomel State Forestry Enterprise

1. The main goal of the association in the field of labor protection is to ensure the safety of life, preserve the health and efficiency of a person in the labor process by creating healthy and safe working conditions for workers.
2. The management of the association and subordinate organizations of the industry ensure the provision of the necessary resources for the implementation of the labor protection policy and exercise control over their use.
3. The main directions of the labor protection policy in the association are:
   • the priority of preserving the life and health of workers;
   • the employer's responsibility for creating healthy and safe working conditions;
   • complex solution of labor protection tasks based on state programs (subprograms);
   • social protection of workers, compensation for harm to persons who have suffered in accidents at work and (or) who have received occupational diseases;
   • establishment of uniform labor protection requirements for all employers;
   • the use of economic methods of management of labor protection, financing of measures to improve conditions and labor protection;
   • training of workers on labor protection issues;
   • cooperation between employers and employees;
   • use of international experience in organizing work to improve conditions and improve labor safety;
   • compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of labor protection;
   • ensuring trouble-free operation of production facilities, preventing industrial accidents and occupational diseases;
   • organization of control;
   • systematic analysis of the state of labor protection and making management decisions to improve the OSHMS;
   • systematic informing of employees about working conditions, industrial injuries, occupational morbidity, accidents at production facilities;
   • attraction of trade unions to participate in the formation and implementation of policies in the field of labor protection, in the work to improve working conditions and labor protection, prevention of accidents, occupational diseases at work, accidents and incidents.
4. The policy of the association in the field of labor protection is formed and updated based on the results of analysis by the management of the association, with the participation of the regional association of the trade union of forest workers and nature management, and is communicated to the workers.
5. The labor protection policy is posted on the association's website.
6. Leskhozes, taking into account the policy pursued by the union in the field of labor protection and the specifics of production, develop their own policy.
